1)
Winter Clinics and Spring Training! As you know, our Winter Clinics will be run by Nate Horseman this year. Nate has been coaching for quite a while and is the owner and manager of a local AAU team. He will need a few volunteers to help out at the Winter Clinics. Spring Training will be run by our coaches and members of the High School team. These will be a great opportunity for you to start to work with the kids in the program, but also learn about some creative drills that you could use when coaching your teams in the spring. Reach out to Larry Gantz,
[email protected], if you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming Winter Clinics.
Reach out to Archie Blondin, [email protected], if you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming Spring Training.
2) Coaches Clinic at RBI Academy! This was an email we had sent out last week, but I wanted to highlight the opportunity for you. The RBI Baseball Academy Staff will be hosting a $20 Coaches Clinic for Youth and High School Coaches at our Foxboro facility on Tuesday, February 21st from 5:30pm-8:00pm. In addition to this great learning opportunity, all profits from the clinic will be donated to the local youth league where the coach is from. They plan to cover everything including: Throwing Mechanics, Defensive Techniques & Drills, Pitching Mechanics & Drills, Foundations of Hitting, and Advanced Hitting & Drills. This is open to baseball and softball, it will be about baseball but the skills and drills are the same just a different ball. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER TO ATTEND THE COACHING CLINIC
Norton Youth Baseball and Softball relies on volunteers to bring these programs alive for our kids. Please consider volunteering your time and we hope to see you on the field!
On Behalf of the NYBS Board, Thank you!
